BACKGROUND I was was born and raised in Montreal by Filipino parents.I am the youngest in the family and I have two older brothers. I have lived in the multicultural area of Montreal, Côte-des-Neiges, all my life. Living in this area has exposed me to many cultures, traditions, religions, languages and so much more, which has allowed me to have an open mind to all the surroundings around me. INTERESTS, ACTIVITIES, & PLANS Art, fashion, music, movies, and fine dining are all interests that make me thrilled and wanting more of. Of course, I like to enjoy all of these interests with the pleasure of being with great friends and family. I have worked in retail for many years and I always wanted to work in the fashion industry. However, I also enjoy sharing knowledge with children, and I decided to pursue a career in Elementary Education. I also work at a daycare drop-in service at a gym/club. Art has been a passion of mine ever since I was a little girl. I have been drawing and painting for many years. Paintings have been sold, and I plan on exhibiting my artworks. My plans after graduating from McGill University in the Kindergarten and Elementary Education Faculty, I plan on teaching for as many years possible but at the same time study to become an Art Therapist. I want to help children, adolescents, adults who want to communicate their feelings and emotions through art. Working as an educator will also be great because I get to help the community. In the summers, I will have free time to create children’s books and perhaps continue my artwork. OTHER INTERESTING THINGS I try to work on my art as much possible. I enjoy spending time with my friends that I have met throughout my lifetime. I take pleasure in fine dining. I try discovering new restaurants and lounges in our great city of Montreal as much possible. I am always on my feet, ready to see what’s out there in the world. I don’t’ take many pauses, because of the fear that I’ll be missing out in life.
